摘要
Based on the theory of balanced section, the author probed into structural geometry, kinematics and structural history of three typical sections in the study area by using the inversion technique of balanced section. It is shown that the fold-thrust zone in the central part of southern Junggar Basin can be longitudinally divided into two parts, namely the basement-involved belt and the décollement belt. The structure has the characteristics that displacement of the back thrust increases and its detached horizon deepens gradually from north to south. In the latitudinal direction, the conversion of regional shortening strain is changed regularly during the compressional deformation through the transfer and complementarity of the displacement.
