This paper analyzes deep groundwater recharge and drainage amounts in the northern suburb of Zhengzhou, Henan Province. Under the status conditions and the exploitation conditions, the hydrogeological condition analysis and balanced analysis are studied. It concludes that under the status conditions groundwater recharge amount is 7 152 m³/d, drainage amount of 7 134 m³/d, the balanced difference of 18 m³/d. Under the exploitation conditions, groundwater recharge amount is 46 301 m³/d, drainage amount of 46 320 m³/d, the balanced difference of  -19 m³/d.
