摘要
Compared with other methods for analyzing time-varying signal,the S transform has many particular merits.But the window function of the S transform is fixed,which limits its application to signal analysis and processing.To solve this problem,this study improves and generalizes the S transform,introduces the modification parameters into the window function of the S transform and integrates the low-pass filtering function into it.And a generalized S transform is proposed.Temporal resolution and frequency resolution of the generalized S transform are regulated via adjusting the parameters.Consequently,the applicability of the generalized S transform is strongly enhanced.This work adopts the generalized S transform to conduct a layer-recognition study using ground penetrating radar data and achieves desirable results.
